Sr. Director of Operations

As the Senior Director of Operations, Frank Aff is responsible for all Carson Operations. In his current role Frank’s leadership is focused on the continuous improvement of the safety, customer service, profitability, operational efficiency, and employee development of Carson’s dispatch team, lubricants division, service divisions (including Carwash, General Services, HVAC, Industrial Cleaning Equipment & Tank Management Solutions), and Carson’s eight branch offices.

Frank’s commitment to operational excellence, customer service and employee engagement have been honed by his 25 years of cross-functional leadership experience. During his career Frank has worked closely with residential and commercial customers, frontline employees and executive leadership to successfully lead teams and divisions through significant growth, acquisitions and change while maintaining focus on the organization’s goals. Carson’s executive leadership has set the vision for Carson to adapt to the changing climate of our industry and the changing needs of our customers. Frank has been entrusted with the responsibility to partner with the executive team, his peers and our operations leaders to successfully navigate the organization through these changes and support Carson’s continued growth. This strategic plan is being accomplished by ensuring that our employees have the tools, processes and resources to consistently work safely while meeting or exceeding Carson’s commitment to our customers and the communities we serve.

As a believer in community engagement and having a heart for youth outreach, Frank has served in Oregon and SW Washington, as a volunteer CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and mentor at Columbia Northwest Big Brothers Big Sisters, and fund-raising for Snow Cap Community Charities. He also served as a Board Director of Aware, a youth development and social services charity affiliated with Northwest Family Services, in 2013 and 2014. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration and his MBA from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.  Frank served in the United States Air Force, 215th Engineering Installation Squadron, from 1991 – 1999.
